Sea-Chem is a limited company based in a converted barn in the Shropshire countryside. We manufacture and market a portfolio of seaweed-based products for a wide range of applications, including brownfield regeneration, industrial cleaning, wastewater treatment and agriculture/horticulture. We also produce a variety of seaweed-based consumables for the home and garden market.

Sea Power 101 is our unique seaweed-based media for the remediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated soils. It acts in two ways: by stimulating the microbes that are key to the bioremediation with essential micronutrients; and by helping to increase the bioavailability of contaminants using natural surfactants. Recently, we have also developed BioBoost - a blend of hydrocarbon-digesting bacteria - which combines with Sea Power 101 in a novel and highly effective synergistic system for soil remediation.
